Religion Education Teacher in Darlington needed to start ASAP

Teaching Personnel are currently working with a "Good" Ofsted rated school within the Darlington area to recruit for a Religious Education teacher to start ASAP. The successful candidate will be required to teach R.E to KS3/KS4, ensuring that you follow the Edexcel syllabus at GCSE. The Religious Education department is highly successful and is a core subject which all students are taught within mixed ability classes through the Key stages. This post would be suitable for experienced teachers who feel they can make a significant and positive contribution to the Religious Education department and the school as a whole. However, we will consider NQT with relevant experience who feels they would be suitable for the role.

  • Daily pay rates of £120-£180
  • Teach R.E to Key stage 3 and 4

  • Have relevant experience teaching Religious Education
  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status QTS
  • Hold a current DBS and ensure it is on the update service (or will be willing to apply for one)
  • Excellent classroom management and organisational skills
  • NQT welcome to apply for the role if you have relevant experience
