A co-educational secondary school located on the outskirts of Warrington is looking to recruit a permanent member of staff to teach Psychology from the start of the new academic year in September. The successful Psychology teacher should have experience teaching the AQA syllabus up to GCSE level as this is the exam board that the school follows.

This is a permanent open vacancy at this highly regarded secondary school teaching a full time timetable. This Psychology teaching position will be on a supply basis in the first instance through Teaching Personnel with the opportunity and plan to be to gain a school based contract following the Autumn term.

The school therefore places emphasis on high quality teaching and are looking for a Psychology teacher that is a positive influence in the classroom and an excellent practitioner.

The Psychology department follow the AQA syllabus at GCSE level including topics such as Introductory Topics in Psychology, Psychopathology, Research Methods and Approaches in Psychology to name just a few. Any relevant experience in teaching these topics will be preferential.

This mixed secondary school is located on the edge of the Warrington area close to the M62 and M6 motorway being very easy to commute to for those teachers living in Warrington, Wigan, St Helens and Greater Manchester. The school is situated in a residential area within pleasant surroundings boasting fantastic facilities.
