Role: Teacher of Psychology
Phase: Further Education (A Level)
Contract: Full-time
Start: April 2025 (Sooner is desirable)
Salary: Competitive, Dependent on experience

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and enthusiastic Teacher of Psychology to join a thriving secondary school and sixth form in Kirkham, Lancashire. The school is seeking an ambitious and highly motivated professional to deliver high-quality teaching to inspiring students to achieve their full potential.
The Role:
- Deliver engaging and well-structured lessons in Psychology at Alevel
- Foster a stimulating learning environment that supports student progress and attainment.
- Assess, monitor, and provide constructive feedback to support student development.
- Contribute to the wider life of the school, including extracurricular activities and student support initiatives.
- Work collaboratively within a dedicated team to uphold the school’s ethos and high academic standards.
The Candidate:
The successful applicant will:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Have a strong academic background in Psychology, or a related discipline.
- Demonstrate experience of teaching Psychology at A Level, with a track record of securing excellent student outcomes.
- Be passionate about their subject and committed to inspiring students.
- Have excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Be a team player, with a commitment to continuous professional development.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
