English Teacher – Alternative Provision
Location: Blackburn with Darwen Area
Full-Time
Monday to Friday
8:30 AM – 4:00 PM
September start
Pay: Dependnt on skills and experience ranging from M1 to UPS2
Are you a passionate and resilient English Teacher ready to make a real difference? We are seeking a dedicated professional to join a supportive alternative provision setting in the Blackburn with Darwen area.
This full-time role is ideal for someone with strong behaviour management skills, a compassionate approach, and a desire to engage and inspire students who may not thrive in mainstream education.
What We’re Looking For:

Qualified Teacher with experience delivering English at KS3/KS4

Proven ability to manage behaviour effectively

Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment

Ability to build strong relationships with young people

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
