(KS1 & KS2 SEN Teaching Assistants)

Would you describe yourself as caring, confident, versatile and passionate about working with special educational needs children? Are you looking for a Full time or Part time position to start after the Easter holidays? Well Teaching Personnel are now recruiting for all of the above!

As the second term is coming to a close, we are looking to recruit for SEN Teaching Assistants/SEN Learning Support Assistants/Support Workers. This will be to cover across our Plymouth and surrounding area schools.

What is required from you?

  • Previous experience in a support role within an education role
  • Have an NVQ Level 3 or above in Health and Social Care or similar
  • Full UK driving licence is desirable but not essential
  • Experience working with children with Special Educational Needs/SEN (Autism, Emotional Difficulties, Behavioural Difficulties or Learning Difficulties) or training in PECS/ Makaton/ BSL / Team Teach is desirable

In order to work for Teaching Personnel and clear our vetting process, you must have a Child Workforce DBS subscribed to the Update Service. Full assistance will be provided should you need to apply for a new check, at a standard cost of £44, plus an annual subscription fee of £13 for the Update Service.
