Primary Teaching Assistant - SEMH - Bristol

Job description

A number of our partnership Primary Academy schools in the Bristol area, are seeking to appoint specialist SEMH TAs to start next term.

The roles will be focused on supporting pupils who have been finding the transition into school or up to a new year group tricky, therefore experience of supporting pupils with SEMH needs is essential.

You will mainly be working 1:1, but could also be supporting small groups in class.

The hours are mostly full time. However, we have some roles which are mornings only.

Monday - Friday

Mornings: 8.30 am - 12. 30 pm

Full days: 8.30 am - 3.30 pm

To be successful in this role you will need to express the following qualities;

- Patience

- Empathy

- Adaptability

You will also need to have experience working in at least one of the following areas;

- EYFS (Nursery and Reception)

- Key Stage 1 or 2

- Special Educational Needs, SEMH Support

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
