Primary School Teacher – County Durham (DH5)
Location: County Durham, DH5
Contract Type: Full-time / Permanent (term-time only)
Start Date: ASAP / Flexible
We are seeking a dedicated and inspiring Primary School Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive school community in the DH5 area of County Durham. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic educator who is passionate about providing high-quality teaching and fostering a love of learning in every child.
About the Role
As a Primary Teacher, you will:

Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum.

Create a positive, stimulating, and inclusive classroom environment where pupils can thrive.

Assess, record, and report on pupils’ progress and development.

Work closely with colleagues, parents, and carers to support each child’s learning journey.

Contribute to the wider life of the school, including extracurricular activities and events.

We’re looking for someone who:

Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or is due to achieve it soon.

Has a strong understanding of the primary curriculum and effective teaching strategies.

Is enthusiastic, reflective, and committed to continuous professional development.

Can build positive relationships with pupils, parents, and staff.

Is passionate about helping every child reach their full potential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
