Teaching Personnel are delighted to be supporting a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Darlington in their search for a dedicated Year 6 Teacher. Your Role

As the Year 6 Teacher, you will:

  • Plan and deliver engaging, well-structured lessons that challenge and motivate learners.

  • Support pupils in achieving their SATs goals while nurturing a love of learning beyond exams.

  • Assess and track progress, ensuring every child reaches their full potential.

  • Foster a respectful, inclusive classroom culture built on care and high expectations.

  • Collaborate with colleagues, support staff, and parents to ensure pupils’ holistic development.

We’re seeking a teacher who brings energy, empathy, and excellence to their classroom. You will have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

  • Strong classroom management and organisational skills

  • A passion for inspiring upper key stage 2 learners and building their confidence

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
