Year 3 Primary Teacher
Durham | £120–£180 per day (DOE) | Full-time
Teaching Personnel are proud to be working with a vibrant and inclusive primary school in Durham, seeking a passionate Year 3 Teacher to join their dedicated team. This is a full-time role, with the exciting potential to become a permanent position for the right candidate.

The Role
As the Year 3 Class Teacher, you’ll play a vital part in helping pupils develop their confidence, curiosity, and independence as they progress through Key Stage 2. Your responsibilities will include:

Planning and delivering engaging, differentiated lessons that inspire a love of learning.

Assessing pupil progress and providing effective feedback to support individual growth.

Creating a positive, well-managed classroom where every child feels included and supported.

Working collaboratively with colleagues and the SLT to share best practice and enhance learning outcomes.

Building strong relationships with parents and carers to support children’s development.
About You
You’re an enthusiastic, committed teacher who wants to make a lasting difference in the lives of young learners. You will have:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

Experience teaching within Key Stage 2 (Year 3 experience desirable)

Excellent classroom management and organisational skills

A nurturing, reflective approach that supports every child to reach their potential

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
