Teaching Personnel – PPA Cover (Flexible Teacher)

Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting for a flexible and enthusiastic teacher to provide PPA cover across classes within a primary school setting in the DH3 area.

Role Details:

• Position: PPA Cover – Flexible Teacher

• Location: DH3

• Key Stages: EYFS, KS1 and KS2 (depending on timetable)

• Start Date: ASAP / Flexible

• Contract: [Full-time/part-time, temporary/permanent as applicable]

Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality lessons across a range of year groups to cover teachers’ PPA time.

• Adapt teaching to meet the needs of different classes and abilities.

• Manage classroom behaviour effectively, following school policies.

• Contribute to a positive and engaging learning environment.

• Work closely with school staff to ensure continuity and progression in pupils’ learning.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.

• Strong classroom management and adaptability.

• Experience across primary year groups (EYFS, KS1 and/or KS2).

• A flexible approach and the ability to engage pupils of different ages.

• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
