Location: County Durham
Start Date: ASAP or negotiable
Salary: £120 – £160 per day (dependent on experience)

Teaching Personnel is currently working with a number of welcoming and supportive primary schools across County Durham that are seeking Key Stage 2 teachers to join their teams. We are looking for enthusiastic and committed teachers who are passionate about delivering high-quality education and supporting pupil development.

This is an excellent opportunity for both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) looking to gain valuable classroom experience.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the KS2 national curriculum

  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment

  • Monitor and assess pupil progress effectively

  • Work collaboratively with school staff, parents, and carers

  • Maintain high standards of behaviour and learning

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK

  • Experience teaching in Key Stage 2

  • Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills

  • A current DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)

  • A proactive and flexible approach to teaching
