Position: Key Stage 2 Teacher
Start Date: ASAP / negotiable
Contract Type: Full-time (with potential for part-time flexibility)
Salary: £120 - £150 per day (dependent on experience)
Teaching Personnel is working in partnership with a number of primary schools across County Durham to recruit a committed and enthusiastic Key Stage 2 Teacher. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced teacher or an ECT looking to develop their career in a supportive environment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum, assessing pupil progress, and contributing to the wider school community. You will work closely with support staff and other members of the teaching team to ensure that all pupils achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:

Deliver high-quality teaching to Key Stage 2 pupils

Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment

Use a range of assessment methods to track and report on pupil progress

Collaborate effectively with colleagues, parents, and carers

Uphold school policies and contribute to school life
Requirements:
-
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

Recent experience teaching in Key Stage 2

Strong knowledge of the KS2 curriculum and assessment procedures

Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills

A valid DBS certificate on the Update Service or willingness to apply for one

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
