Primary Teacher

Location: County Durham
Start Date: ASAP or negotiable
Salary: £130 – £150 per day (dependent on experience)
Teaching Personnel is working closely with a number of primary schools across County Durham who are looking for dedicated and passionate Key Stage 1 (KS1) teachers. These schools are seeking individuals who can create a nurturing and engaging learning environment for pupils in Reception, Year 1, or Year 2.
This is a great opportunity for both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) who are looking to further develop their classroom experience.
Role Responsibilities:

Deliver creative and structured lessons in line with the KS1 national curriculum

Foster a safe, supportive, and stimulating learning environment
-
Monitor and assess pupil progress in line with school policies
-
Collaborate with staff, parents, and external agencies as required
-
Maintain high expectations for behaviour, learning, and pupil welfare
Requirements:
-
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK
-
Experience teaching within Key Stage 1 (EYFS experience is a bonus)
-
Strong understanding of phonics and early years development
-
A valid DBS registered with the update service (or willingness to apply)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
