Primary School Support Staff
Job description
This vacancy has now expired. Please see similar roles below...
We are recruiting for Teaching Assistants to join our team to start work on or after the 8th of March 2021.
With the news of school re-openings, we have already been inundated with staffing requests, mainly for Teaching Assistants to support special needs and catch-up interventions.
We are recruiting for a range of candidates and not necessarily just people with previous school based experience. There are lots of roles including care support worker, child-minder, nursery nurse, all of which have very transferable skills and so we are encouraging candidates to apply with a wide variety of experience supporting children. Alternatively, you may be a candidate with a relevant qualification such as an education based degree or a CACHE level 3 - if so, we'd love to hear from you too!
Throughout the rest of this academic year and beyond, we will be able to facilitate part and full time work in schools across Cornwall. We can provide flexible supply style work or will be able to place many educators into long-term placements. Whether you're an EYFS specialist looking for 2-3 days a week, or an SEN support TA looking for a permanent position - we can help.
We have ensured that our registration process is easy to complete from home and we are dedicating many hours each week into supporting new candidates through the vetting process. We offer competitive rates of pay, access to an extensive CPD academy, a COVID secure app and much more.
We are exceptionally excited about growing our support staff team across Cornwall so please do not hesitate to apply if you are an experienced school Teaching Assistant or a candidate with other child support experience with a desire to get in to a primary school based role.
Please email poppy.pellow@teachingpersonnel.com if you have any questions ahead of applying.
All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role. Please see teachingpersonnel.com/faqs for details.
All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
Teaching Personnel is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. We offer all our registered candidates FREE child protection and prevent duty training. All candidates must undertake or have undertaken a valid enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. Full assistance provided.
