Teaching Assistant

Location: Barry (Vale of Glamorgan)

Salary: £12.90ph

Job type: Full time (Monday-Friday)

Start: ASAP – July 2024

Year Group: All Primary Ages

Teaching Personnel are seeking enthusiastic, motivated, and passionate individuals to work within a vibrant nursery classroom in Barry. The school we work in partnership with is easily accessible by public transport, modern and has excellent facilities.

Your role will be to help promote the health and wellbeing of children across both foundation phase and KS2. It will be essential to promote positive relationships in the early years setting. You will need to support children’s learning, the classroom teacher and monitor development. You will get the chance to plan and create exciting activities to help keep children engaged throughout the day.

The ideal classroom assistant:

  • Is passionate about helping others
  • Has a kind nature
  • Is patient and communicates well through various methods.
  • Takes a positive approach to their work and will be a support to the classroom teacher
  • Has a passion for engaging students and watching them develop into lifelong learners, always going the extra mile to create a fun and positive learning environment.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
