Primary PPA Teacher

Due to a change in staffing caused by the current situation, a reputable Primary School located on the outskirts of Nelson are looking to appoint a part-time PPA Teacher upon the return to school in September. The successful candidate would work on a part-time basis across key stage 1 and 2 to allow core members of staff to take their PPA and management time. The school are ideally looking for someone to work 3 half days a week but are willing to be as flexible as possible with this for the right candidate. Although the Head Teacher encourages both Newly and Fully Qualified Teachers to apply, excellent references and recent school experience are a necessity.

Behaviour across school is good and pupils demonstrate a positive attitude to learning. However, standards are high and it is therefor a requirement for the appointment practitioner to be confident and capable in implementing the schools behaviour management policy. The school is boasts a positive reputation within the local area, has a ‘Good’ Ofsted grading, and a popular Senior Leadership team.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
