Physics Teacher/Teacher of Physics – Lewisham

A small mixed comprehensive Secondary school on the Lewisham area have an upcoming requirement within their Science department for a teacher of Physics from September.

Due to a restructure within the faculty, the incoming Physics teacher will join the school on a full time temporary basis for two terms. There is an opportunity to obtain a fixed term contract from 2018.

“Our Science department require a teacher of Physics ahead of the new academic year. It is crucial that the appointed teacher is a specialist in Physics due to the position solely focusing on this subject. Both experienced and newly qualified Physics teachers are welcome to apply for this post, and there is the potential of a permanent position with ourselves from 2018.” – Head of Science

Our client Secondary school has a local train station directly outside the school gates. This newly built school currently has fewer than 800 pupils on roll, and with the facilities in place, the incoming teacher of Physics will have the tools available to create dynamic and inclusive lessons.

The appointed teacher of Physics will be fully supported by the Science department, and will be expected to take on full departmental responsibilities.

For immediate consideration, please send a full CV outlining all teaching experiences to Carly. Further information regarding this position can be obtained by contacting the London Secondary Branch using the contact details provided below; or call: 0207 593 3077
