Physics teaching required for 'Outstanding' Darlington school

Are you an enthusiastic physics teacher seeking full time employment within a high achieving secondary school in Darlington? Would a role within a school that highly invests in its staff be off interest to you?

**Full time Physics teacher**

**Temporary 6 month position within a large successful secondary school**

**Located in Darlington with excellent public transport links**

**January start**

Teaching personnel Teesside is currently partnered with a large school based in Darlington, who is currently looking for a physics specialist to cover long-term sickness teaching from KS3-KS5. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and a commitment to raising attainment across all abilities to maintain the high standards expected of the school.

Overview

  • Follow the structured schemes of work to ensure that the students are progressing from KS2 to KS3 and within KS3, KS4 and KS5.
  • Establish an excellent working relationship with groups and individuals to encourage pupils to actively get involved in their own learning
  • Carry out a range of tasks from planning lessons, assignments, classwork and laboratory work that may prove challenging for students
  • Opportunity to develop new skills- particularly the ability to teach to an advanced level, achieve an excellent attendance record, develop your communication skills as well as advancing on your health and safety during laboratory activities.
  • Pay rate in line with MPS/UPS (£22,917-£38,622)
