Personal Care Assistant required in Bradford

Teaching Personnel are currently looking to appoint individuals who have the drive and passion to assist pupils with additional needs at a school within the Bradford area. The pupils have complex needs from moderate to severe learning difficulties who require very specific assistance with personal care and academic support with learning.

As a learning support assistant (LSA) you will be required to provide specific support, dependant on the individual pupils, deal with the personal care and comfort of pupils as required in relation to health, hygiene, toileting and administering of medicines and who can build up a rapport with the pupils to promote inclusion. You will be able to carry out these duties with a high level of sensitivity to pupil needs.

An experience within a school and direct experience working with children is desired but not essential as we also look for in background knowledge in areas such as health and social care and/or youth work.
