PE Teaching Assistant - Oldham - Full Time

PE Teaching Assistant required to join our school in September on a full time basis. This is a long term position with the potential of a permanent contract and will involve supporting pupils on both a 1:1 and group basis, both within PE classes as well as during after school sport clubs and extra curricular activities.

You will be working within an Ofsted graded 'Good' school in Oldham with an excellent reputation in the local community. The school have an excellent tradition for delivering high GCSE results as well as a strong support structure in place, both for pupils and teaching staff. The school is easily accessible both by car or by public transport, being located a short distance from major public transport links to Manchester City Centre.

**FULL TIME POSITION AS A PE TEACHING ASSISTANT**

**WORKING AT AN OFSTED GRADED 'GOOD' SCHOOL IN OLDHAM**

**EARN UP TO £65 A DAY, DEPENDENT ON EXPERIENCE**

Working as a PE Teaching Assistant you will be required to support the subject teacher within both practical and classroom based PE lessons and assist pupils with any needs they may have, whether these are learning, behaviour, SEN or SEMH related. Due to this previous experience as a PE Teaching Assistant or in a similar role is preferred, however we would welcome applications from individuals with sports coaching experience or recent graduates who are considering a career in education and would like further experience in a secondary school environment before enrolling on a PGCE or similar Teacher Training Programme.
