Job description

Due to an upcoming maternity leave within the PE department, our partner secondary school have a temporary gap for a PE teacher to join their faculty from March 2019. This position will continue throughout the full academic year and into the new academic year (2019/2020).

  • Full time Physical Education position - maternity cover from March 2019.
  • Teaching female PE across Key Stage Three and Key Stage Four
  • Large Ofsted graded 'Good' secondary school
  • Pay in line with teaching pay scale (£23,720 - £39,406 per annum)
  • Great location, accessible via the M66 Motorway

"We wish to appoint a PE teacher to cover a maternity within the PE faculty from March 2019 for the remainder of this school year and into the new academic year. This position would be suited to both experienced and newly qualified teachers of PE. The faculty consists of four teachers, with access to a refurbished Sports Hall and state of the art facilities. With over 800 pupils on roll, the school is currently of average size in comparison to other schools within the area. A significant proportion of students achieve above the national average in core subject GCSE's and the school has consistently been graded 'Good' from Ofsted.
