Teaching Personnel are working with a secondary school in the Scarborough area that are looking to recruit a Pastoral Support Worker on a Permanent basis. We are seeking an individual who has a desire to support young people to progress and achieve both educationally and personally. The role is during term time and working 21 hours per week. The role will require you to work the hours of 2.30 - 9.30pm as the primary function is to offer activity workshops as after school clubs.

As a Pastoral Support Worker you will work within our team to provide a balanced curriculum to our pupils through a broad range of school activities. You will be confident in being able to lead and devise new and existing sessions including cycling, walking, climbing, football, motorbikes, arts and crafts, gardening and cooking.

If you hold a Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care this would be greatly advantageous but not necessary as ling as you have the desire to complete this qualification as part of the role acceptance.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
