Part-time Teaching Assistant

Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant looking for flexible work within a supportive Secondary school this academic year?

If so, then please see details below of an exciting Teaching Assistant position which is set to commence on the schools return from the October Half-term.

  • Part-time Teaching Assistant - Hindley
  • Required to work flexibly for the remainder of the academic year
  • Starting following the October Half-term break
  • Excellent pay rates with potential earnings of up to £1200 a month
  • Days and Hours to be confirmed

Our client school who aim to recruit for this Teaching Assistant position are based in the Hindley area of Wigan and hold a good reputation within the local community. They require an additional Teaching Assistant in order to provide support to a number of identified pupils within Year 9 classes, supporting the class teacher to minimise cases of low level disruption.

To be successful in this role, you must be able to build good relationships with both teaching staff and students and to be calm when dealing with students that show signs of challenging behaviour. You must be a good role model at all times and encourage the students that you are working with to make regular improvements within school.

Our client Secondary school;

  • Has around 900 pupils on roll at present - larger than other schools in the area.
  • Is located in Hindley area of Wigan close to the A577
  • Provides good access to surrounding areas, Wigan, Leigh and Bolton due to an abundance of public transport links.
