This secondary school seeks to appoint a talented and dynamic Teacher of English to work within their hugely successful English Department. They have an excellent school ethos with a strong leadership team. The Teacher of English position is available from January 2020 on a long term contracted basis in the first instance. The ability to teach across all key stages 3 and 4 will be an advantage. Students follow the AQA syllabus at GCSE and at A level. The English department achieves outstanding results at Key Stage 3 and GCSE and all classes are taught in mixed ability groups from Year 7 onwards.

This position is a part time role working 3 days a week on a temporary basis in the first instance, with a permanent position potentially being available for outstanding candidates! This position will be paid to scale, and is suitable for all experienced or qualified teachers to apply for.

This post would be suitable for experienced teachers who feel they can make a significant and positive contribution to the English department and the school as a whole, as well as newly qualified teacher and you will be paid to scale in accordance with your level of experience.
