Part-Time - English Teacher - Battersea - September Start
I am currently working with a fantastic catholic secondary school within the area of Battersea who are seeking a part-time teacher of English to begin from September. All applicants must have a minimum of two years teaching experience and must have QTS.
We at Teaching Personnel are proud of the quality of service we provide our teachers. With the opportunity to develop your personal skills through our various courses and gaining valuable experience from within the classroom, we will help you to grow as a person and as a professional.
The school are seeking a talented individual to deliver high quality English lessons consistently across KS3-KS4, and to have the capacity to deliver English at A Level in the future. The successful candidate will also be expected to provide excellent pastoral care to all students.
The successful candidate will:
- Be able to teach English at KS3-4 and have the potential to teach A Level English.
- Deliver 1-1 and small group lessons to pupils in Savio ASD and Devereux Base.
- Be actively supportive of the Catholic values and beliefs of the school and to make a positive contribution to the wider life of the school.

The Person
- Minimum of 2 years teaching experience (NQT considered).
- Must have QTS.
- Must be able to obtain a clean DBS check.
- Ability to teach across KS3 - KS4.
- The drive and stamina to exceed school expectations and targets.
- Strong subject knowledge.
- Strong communication skills both written and verbally.
- Fantastic work ethic.
- References and 6 year career history required.
