Office Administrator

To be considered for this role, you must have office administrator experience within a Primary School.

We are seeking a highly organised and professional Office Administrator/Bursar to join our friendly team. You will be the first point of contact for parents, visitors, and staff, ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the school office.

Job Title: Office Administrator/Bursar
Location: Padiham
Contract: Full-time
Salary: £13.75 - £15 per hour

Start Date: October 2025

Key Responsibilities

• Providing efficient administrative support to the Headteacher, staff, and governors.
• Managing telephone and face-to-face enquiries in a professional and friendly manner.
• Maintaining accurate pupil records using SIMS.
• Handling pupil admissions, attendance, and assessment data.
• Supporting finance processes such as invoicing and ordering resources.
• Ensuring compliance with safeguarding and data protection procedures.
• General office duties including correspondence, filing, and record-keeping.

About You

The successful candidate will have:

• Experience working with SIMS in a school environment (essential)
• Previous experience in a primary school office (essential)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong IT skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office
• The ability to prioritise tasks and work effectively under pressure
• A warm, welcoming manner and a genuine commitment to supporting children and families
