Nursery assistant manager - full time, based in the borough of Ealing

At Teaching Personnel we are currently recruiting for an assistant manager to work within a nursery based in Ealing - this will be a full time positions (40 hours a week).

The role:

The full time position will be assisting in the running of the nursery, including stepping in in the absence of the nursery manager. You will be working 8am to 5pm, 5 days a week - heavily involved in the paperwork side of the role and working closely with numerous students. The position will involve running a pool of staff, ensuring all areas of the nursery are covered, ensuring that the ratios are appropriate to the number of students. The safety and happiness of the student is crucial, you will conducted weekly checks of the students paperwork and documents, including health and safety aspects of the nursery.

The nursery:

This is a large nursery with around 60 children on their system, working with a variety of ages from 1 - 4 years old. This Montessori nursery have a real focus on each child's personal development, monitoring and assessing them at every stage. They highlight the importance of physical activities, learning through playing outdoors and engaging with a variety of activities and people. The nursery is open 8am - 6pm Monday to Friday and based within Ealing -

Salary:

The salary is negotiable dependent on experience and qualifications etc. Please contact me if you would be interested in discussing the starting salary.

Ideal candidate:

  • Experienced working/managing nurseries
  • Experienced completing individual students paperwork and ensuring appropriate ratios
  • Happy to carry out risk assessments and conduct tours with prospective parents
  • Comfortable managing numerous members of staff
