Year 2 Primary Teacher – Newton Heath

Are you a passionate, dedicated teacher ready to inspire and support young learners? Teaching Personnel is excited to be partnering with a warm, inclusive primary school in Newton Heath, who are seeking an enthusiastic Year 2 Teacher to join their team from May.

About the Role
- Full-time teaching position in a Year 2 class
- Plan and deliver engaging, creative lessons in line with the KS1 curriculum
- Track, assess, and monitor pupil progress to ensure every child achieves their potential
- Work closely with teaching assistants and wider staff to maintain a positive learning environment
- Promote inclusion, wellbeing, and confidence in every child
What We’re Looking For
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching KS1, ideally Year 2
- Strong classroom management and organisational skills
- A passion for inspiring young learners and fostering curiosity
- Ability to differentiate and adapt lessons to meet diverse needs

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
