Newly Qualified Teacher

Job description

Are you a primary NQT, or due to complete your teacher training this year, and worried about securing a role for September?

Teaching Personnel are recruiting NQTs for our NQT Pool, to help you secure your perfect role!

We are working with Primary Schools in the Bournemouth area, including those catering for pupils with SEN and/or behaviour needs, to support them with their recruitment for September 2020. Teaching Personnel appreciate that NQTs may have concerns about securing roles for September due to placements finishing early, so we have our NQT Pool Scheme in place to support you.

The NQT Pool from Teaching Personnel gives you access to thousands of potential employers and valuable support as you look to start your teaching career in these unprecedented times. Once you have registered with the NQT pool our consultants will build up an in-depth profile of your skills, abilities and personality and discuss your job aspirations. We then take the profile we have built up (including a short video introduction) and speak to schools looking to recruit NQTs to find the perfect match between you and the school.  You then interview with the school via video link and, if everyone is happy, you will be placed for September.

We have partnered with the best practice network to provide NQTs free access to six online support packs & ongoing CPD and resources to ensure your development and learning is not compromised. Support packs include six hours of content aligned to both the Teacher Standards and Early Career Framework and are designed to support the practice of Teachers:

  • Pedagogy and Practice
  • Curriculum
  • Assessment
  • Behaviour
  • SEN
  • Professional behaviours

You will also have access to other CPD courses including Mental Well-being in Children and Young People, Managing Classroom Behaviour, Mindfulness, Promoting Positive Behaviour.

The NQT Pool from Teaching Personnel offers real benefits for you:

  • A quick and simple route to find potential employers during te period of school closures
  • Removes the burden of making multiple job applications during these challenging times
  • Gives you a range of options and opportunities to secure teaching work for September
  • Access to additional training materials to support NQTs whose training has been cut short by the coronavirus outbreak

If you are a recent NQT or an NQT yet to complete your NQT year and looking for a teaching opportunity for September, as well as ongoing professional & personal development support then we would love to hear from you.
