Teaching Personnel is seeking a passionate English Teacher to join a Middlesbrough secondary school on a full time, temporary basis. This is an opportunity for a teacher who enjoys inspiring a love of language, literature, and creative expression in the classroom.
What you'll be doing:
- Delivering engaging English lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 advantageous)
- Teaching a range of literature, language, and writing skills
- Encouraging confident reading, writing, and discussion
- Maintaining a positive, well managed classroom environment
- Supporting the wider English department as required
You need:
- QTS or equivalent
- Strong subject knowledge in English Language and Literature
- Confident classroom and behaviour management skills
- Enthusiasm, reliability, and adaptability
- Recent experience teaching English in UK secondary schools
