Are you a strong and experienced MFL Teacher? Looking for a new role? Can you teach KS3 French and Spanish? Are you available 2 days per week? If so we have the perfect role for you!

I am looking to appoint a MFL teacher on behalf of a client school in Derby who can plan and deliver across Key Stage 3. The role offered will be temporary 2 days per week (Week A Tuesday and Wednesday and Week B Wednesday and Friday) and lasting a term and you will be prepping and delivering lessons across KS3 to mixed ability classes. The school are looking to appoint a new MFL teacher after the Easter Holiday, starting on Monday 29th April.

The school is located in an affluent area of Derby and currently have aroud 1350 pupils on roll. The schools latest OFSTED report (2018) was 'Good' stating that "The determined leadership of the headteacher and the senior team has led to rapid improvements at the school. They have successfully embedded a positive and inclusive culture that staff and pupils have embraced"

An ideal candidate will have:

  • UK recognised teaching qualification
  • Experience teaching French and Spanish to Key Stage 3
  • A friendly and patient approach to teaching
  • Good behaviour management skills
  • The ability to plan and deliver effective lessons
