Teaching Personnel are looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant for an 'Outstanding' secondary school in Chorley. The position is to start full-time in March 2019 until July 2019. The successful applicant will work collaboratively with Teachers to meet the personal, social and curriculum needs. This includes Maths support in lower ability classes, as well as general Teaching Assistant responsibilities for a pupil in a wheelchair, which they are able to use themselves. It is vital that the candidate is able to establish positive, supportive and constructive relationships with pupils, parents, carers and the wider community.

It is essential that the candidate has a strong Mathematics background with a Higher Education qualification in Mathematics. The candidate must have relevant experience supporting children aged 11-16 years and/or working in a secondary school setting.
