We're looking to appoint a successful Maths teacher to a role at a secondary school in Trafford. The position is a full time role starting at the beginning of January 2020. This Maths teacher role would be well suited to both experienced practitioners and newly qualified teachers.

As a Maths teacher, you will play a pivotal role in the school's aspirations to accomplish this, by delivering the core subject at both KS3 and KS4. During KS3, pupils will be taught a variety of topics including: problem solving, fractions, decimals, co-ordinates, equations, angles, significant figures, graphs, shapes and quadratics, to name a few. Delivery of these topics will be through a mastery curriculum to ensure complete comprehension of these vital numerical skills.

At KS4, pupils follow the AQA curriculum and study topics such as: roots and powers, two way tables, indices, reciprocals, congruence and tessellation, trigonometry, circles, factorisation, loci, simultaneous equations and vectors. With a generous allocation of timetabled hours, you will have excellent provision to ensure a depth of understanding of these mathematical concepts.

• Must be available for full time work from January 2020
• Must have QTS in the UK - both experienced teachers and NQTs are welcome to apply
• Must have suitable school-based references
