Maths Teacher/ Teacher of Maths

An Ofsted graded outstanding secondary school in Oldham is currently seeking a teacher of Maths on a full time basis. This position will be from Easter until the end of the academic year with the potential to continue.

The incoming Maths teacher will be expected to take on full planning and marking responsibilities up to KS4. The school are looking for someone who can rise to the challenge of preparing outstanding lessons and consistently push students to meet their maximum potential and target grades. It is important that the Maths teacher can build positive report with students to ensure they are engaged and offer intervention and support where needed.

This is a larger than average mixed 11-16 secondary school located in Oldham close to the A627 road and is easily accessible via the surrounding areas; Manchester City Centre, Rochdale and Tameside

Our client secondary school has an excellent reputation within the diverse local community with a large intake of the students coming from the surrounding areas, the majority of students are from minority ethnic backgrounds most of whom are of Pakistani or Bangladeshi heritage.
