Maths Teacher - Bolton

Full-time Maths teacher required from Easter 2019.

Teaching Personnel are currently looking to recruit an ambitious and passionate Maths teacher for a position which is set to commence from Easter 2019 due to an internal promotion within the school.

The position;

  • Full time Maths teaching position
  • Position opening due to an internal promotion within the Maths teaching faculty.
  • Temporary position in the first instance with permanent progression opportunities
  • Paid in line with MPS/UPS dependant on experience (£23,720- £39,406)
  • Required to start from Easter 2019

The Head of Maths now wishes to meet with available Maths teachers at the earliest convenience, in order to successfully appoint the incoming teacher ahead of the upcoming Easter holidays. The school will offer employment to the incoming Maths teacher for the remainder of the academic year on a temporary basis with permanent contract extension opportunities from September 2019.

With the emphasis on teacher development and in-house training within our client Secondary school, the school are considering applications from teachers ranging in experience levels. To be successful in this post however it is essential that the incoming teacher is able to teach Maths in an engaging manner in order to raise attainment across both Key Stage Three and Key Stage Four.

The school;

  • Has a Sixth Form on campus and is larger than the average Secondary school with around 1800 pupils on roll.
  • Was graded 'Good' across all areas in their most recent Ofsted inspection.
  • The school is located in Bolton and can easily be accessed via the M61 motorway. Public transport links are easily accessible via the surrounding areas of Wigan, Chorley, Preston, Bury and Salford.
