Maths Teacher – 12 Month Maternity Cover

Teaching personnel are currently looking to recruit a Maths teacher with a track record of success for a school in Worsley. This is a 12 month maternity cover position however after the 12 months the successful candidate may also have the opportunity to be taken on full time.

  • Maths Teacher – Teaching both KS3 and KS4 Students
  • Pay in line with MPS and UPS (£30,000 - £41,333)
  • 12 month maternity cover with the view to be taken on full time
  • School welcoming applications from Teachers ranging in experience
  • Hold QTS and a PGCE specialising with secondary education
  • Responsible for preparing students for there GCSE exams

The school are looking for an enthusiastic Maths teacher that can come in and hit the ground running in the absence of a well established Maths teacher. The successful candidate must be able to teach Maths to students ranging in ability and be able to have a positive effect on students that may otherwise struggle to engage.

This high school is a larger than average secondary school where the schools leadership, Management and pupil behaviour are all identified as key areas that have been improved in recent years. The senior management team at school offer full support and provide clear direction.

The school is located just minutes from the M60 motorway and is just off the East Lancashire road making it easily accessible from the surrounding areas, Bolton, Wigan, Manchester, and Bury.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
