Teaching personnel are recruiting an outstanding Maths teacher to join a newly converted academy located in the Farnworth area Greater Manchester, ahead of September 2018.
With an increased demand for an additional Maths teacher at this growing Academy, the senior leadership are looking to appoint a hard working, dedicated and experienced Maths teacher eager to work hard in a developing school.
- Full time Maths teacher position, fixed term - September 2018 start.
- Pay in line with MPS/UPS (£22,467 - £33,160) Experience Dependant *
- Short drive via M61 and surrounding arears; Bury, Salford and Wigan.
- Must Hold QTS/NQT - Experience delivering the Maths curriculum at Key stage 3-4 is essential.
The incoming Maths teacher can look to join a growing maths department at a promising secondary school, which pride themselves in the development of their pupils. Through the relevant support in place at the school, the ideal Maths teacher will also lead a full time table covering the Maths curriculum at Key Stages 3-4.
Duties for the successful Maths teacher will include;
- Delivering outstanding Maths lessons to students through tailored teaching and learning.
- Lead a full time table, covering the Maths curriculum at the secondary Key stages.
- Promote a positive behaviour management strategy, in accordance with the school behaviour policies.
- Plan, mark and monitor class work and report back to senior leadership.
This mixed secondary with just over 1200 pupils, located a stones throw from Manchester city centre, is ideally situated to be accessed via the M60 and the surrounding areas; Salford, Bury and Wigan. It also has various public transport links within close proximity to the school.
