Through recommendation from the Virtual School; Primary, Secondary and Special Needs Schools in Hull have asked Teaching Personnel to recruit candidates who can support their Looked after Children.
They all have a shared aim of ‘narrowing the gap’ between the achievements of Looked after Children and their peers. The support will be not only be on a one-to-one basis but also in small groups across Key Stages 1, 2, 3 and 4. The support will be carried out within the pupils care / foster home, within the classroom or within a sourced and risk assessed venue. Applicants will be responsible for liaising with the Designated Teacher to plan and deliver a personalised tuition programme for Maths, English or both. Successful applicants will have their own transport the flexibility to work mornings afternoons or evenings.
