Mathematics Teacher | Newcastle | Full time

Teaching Personnel are looking for an experienced Maths Teacher to work in our client's Secondary school, located in Newcastle. The Maths Teacher role will involve teaching students in KS3-KS5 aged 11-18 years old. You will be producing lesson plans to tailor students with a range of academic abilities, from students learning the basic to AS and A-Level students studying for their exams.

Should you not have A-Level experience, the school are flexible with timetables and are willing to move KS5 Lessons to in-house staff. There is also a strong chance that after a temporary period within the school, this position will be made permanent for the right Teacher.

Key Highlights:

  • Mathematics Teacher, with knowledge up to KS5 ideally
  • Located in the West End of Newcastle
  • Starting September 2019 in the new academic year
  • Pay in line with MPS/UPS (£23,720 - £39,406) with weekly pay
  • Teaching KS3-KS5 Maths lessons

With the new academic year approaching, the Head teacher at our client's school is looking to fill an open vacancy. The secondary school is looking for a confident, experienced and passionate Maths Teacher to join their strong department.

The successful Mathematics Teacher will;

  • Be able to create fun and interactive lessons to engage every student
  • Have previous experience teaching Maths to secondary school students
  • Be a team player to work in a strong Mathematics department team
  • Be able to commit to a full time Maths Teacher role
