Level 3 Teaching Assistant needed to work across Year 4/5 (bb5)

A 2 Form Entry School in Accrington have reached out to Teaching Personnel in need of a Level 3 Support Practitioner to support Year 4 and Year 5 on a full time basis working Monday to Friday.

Monday to Wednesday, you are required to work with small groups of children in Year 5, delivering various interventions touching all subjects in the National Curriculum. You will be required to work with children of all abilities and be confident in delivering interventions to suit their abilities.

The school has requested that the practitioner must have had previous experience working in KS2 and is dedicated to raising the children's attainment successfully.

Thursday and Friday, the role is to be a general class Teaching Assistant supporting the Class Teacher in Year 4 with all subjects, the Head Teacher would prefer a Candidate with an excellent understanding of the National Curriculum.

The School itself has a mixed catchment and is a mixed ability school. The Head Teacher said she is keen to continue to raise attainment throughout the School and is looking to employ a dedicated and hardworking staff member with a great work ethic.

The salary is based on a 6.5 hour position held in the mornings, Monday to Friday, and depending on experience, this could vary between £8.40-£10.50 per hour.
