We are currently seeking exceptional primary trained Teaching Assistants to join our team of committed and motivated education professionals in Selby, Goole and East Riding.

Teaching Personnel work closely with numerous fantastic primary schools situated in Selby and the surrounding areas, who often require trained Teaching Assistants at short notice, for day to day cover and longer term assignments.

Specifically, we are seeking Level 2 trained Teaching Assistants with a positive working attitude and the passion to really make a difference to the educational lives of the children in our client schools. As a Teaching Assistant through Teaching Personnel, you will provide essential support to class teachers, become fully immersed in school life and be a vital part of each school you work in.

Working as a Teaching Assistant is highly rewarding, but also brings many challenges. It is therefore essential that you are/ have:

  • Calm, patient and able to implement effective behaviour management techniques
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • A Passion and enthusiasm to support the intellectual, social and emotional development of each individual pupil

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
