Learning Support Assistant, North Leeds Primary School
A North Leeds Primary school that Teaching Personnel work exclusively with are looking to employ a Learning Support Assistant to start in the new year January 2020. The upcoming position will be working as a Learning Support Assistant with various groups of children across the Primary age range and delivering interventions to help raise pupil attainment. This role will also involve working with pupils on a 1-2-1 basis who may have Special educational Needs. This is a highly rewarding role and will be leading to a permanent contract for the right candidate.

Rated as ‘Good’ by Ofsted, this school is located within the LS17 postcode of North Leeds and is close to the city centre and public transport such as; buses and train services. This primary school are looking for enthusiastic and supportive Learning Support Assistant who can help raise pupil attainment and who can also support pupils who have additional needs on a 1-2-1 basis.
About Teaching Personnel
Teaching Personnel works closely with Leeds Trinity University which provides our candidates with the knowledge and skills they need to develop both personally and professionally as a teaching assistant. - Candidates must be available school hours, full-time and able to start from January 2020
- Candidates must have previous experience working in a school based environment
- Candidates must have a positive attitude and have experience working with young people in an educational environment
- Candidates must be enthusiastic and confident when working with primary school aged children of all levels and abilities
- Candidates need to be open to trial days and providing one-to-one support for pupils of lower abilities or pupils with SEN
- Candidates must have an up to date CV and 2 references which are educational based
- Candidates applying MUST have previous experience working with Primary school aged children in a professional capacity
