Pay: £14.25 per hour
Hours: Full-time (Term-Time Only)

About the Role
We are currently recruiting Special Needs Teaching Assistants to join specialist schools across Hampshire for a September 2026 start.
This is an excellent opportunity to begin or further your career in education within a supportive and rewarding environment. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in helping pupils with additional needs to access learning, develop confidence, and achieve their individual potential.
Working closely with teachers and other support staff, you will assist with learning activities, encourage positive behaviour, support daily routines, and contribute to creating a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.

Available Settings
Special Educational Needs (SEN) Schools
Supporting pupils with autism, learning disabilities, physical disabilities, medical needs, and communication difficulties.
Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) Schools
Supporting pupils with social, emotional, and mental health needs, including those who may present with anxiety, trauma-related needs, or behavioural challenges.

An Enhanced Child DBS registered on the Update Service, or a willingness to obtain one

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
