Learning Support Assistant for SEN Schools

Job description

Teaching Personnel are currently seeking regular supply Teaching Assistants for roles in the Basingstoke and surrounding areas, to work in our Special Education Needs Schools.

We have long term supply and day-to-day work in these areas for Teaching Assistants to step into immediately. We also have long term roles that often turn into permanent employment for suitable candidates. These positions can be in both Primary and Secondary schools and will involve 1:1 support, small group work and various intervention projects.

If you have previous experience working with children, and are interested in a flexible working option in schools, or if you would like to gain experience in a variety of school environments, please get in touch. Teaching Personnel also offer development courses through our CPD Academy; courses such as Team Teach, Autism Awareness and Safeguarding can be attained alongside a number of other courses specified to working in various education settings.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
