Are you an engaging and driven individual?

Do you have experience supporting young people with challenging behaviour?

Are you able to build rapport with young people who are reluctant to engage?

I am looking for a learning mentor for an exceptional school in Manchester. This school caters for pupils who have struggled to engage in mainstream education, often due to challenging backgrounds and/or additional needs.

If you come from a sports coach, youth work, or support work background you are likely to have the ideal experience and temperament for this role.

Requirements

  • Experience as a sports coach/ youth worker/ support worker
  • Ability to build rapport with young people who are reluctant to engage
  • Team-Teach training is desirable but training can be provided
  • Child DBS on the update service
