Job description

Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with an SEND school in the Richmond area (DL10) to recruit a teaching assistant to support children and young people with PMLD. Some students may require medical assistance and personal care. The role will commence immediately on a temporary basis, with the potential for a permanent contract to the right candidate. You will be working on a part time basis, three days a week surrounding school day hours. The candidate will benefit from holding a Moving and Handling Qualification, other relevant qualifications or experience are also strongly considered.

The ideal candidate will have:

-Experience working with PMLD or SLD

-Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or relevant experience/degree)

-Moving and Handling Qualification
