It is reported that some Y6 students will return to school as early as the 01/06/20, with social distancing classrooms and procedures put in place. Many traditional classes of around 30 children are expected to split up into smaller groups of around 10 - 15. As a result of this many schools are looking to take on temporary upper KS2 specialists teachers to support in school, teaching these smaller classes. 

The right individual...

Would have the ability to accelerate progress and aid children in catching up on what they have missed as soon as possible. This is vital in such a crucial year such as Y6 in regards to KS2 assessment. 

It is highly desirable if...

• You have KS2 SATs experience 
• You have delivered booster or catch up sessions 
• You have a subject specialism in one or more core subjects

You must have...

• A sound overall current curriculum knowledge
• A clear understanding of the expectations in UPKS2
• A relevant teaching qualifications that enables you to teach in the UK

We have requirements for this type of role on both a long and short term basis, with both part and full time opportunities available.
