KS2 Teacher required full time at a Primary School in Central Preston PR1
- Experience working in Key Stage 2 a necessity
- Must have Qualified Teacher Status
- Strong Behaviour Management is essential
A Primary School in Preston PR1 are looking to appoint a lively and enthusiastic Teacher to work in their 'high achieving' Year 5 Class. The position is to start after the Easter Holidays, due to a shortage of staffing.
The role will require you to deliver high quality and engaging lessons which follow the National Curriculum. Due to the nature of the class, it is crucial the successful candidate can deliver lessons high quality and focussed lessons. The Class is a mixed ability Class with the majority of children either 'At' or 'Exceeding Age Related Expectations', due to this the Practitioner must be able to differentiate core subjects efficiently, encouraging the children to expand their minds to their true potential.
The Head Teacher has noted she wants to employ someone to bring fun into the classroom and has stated that the general behaviour of the school is 'Very good' and the children are 'eager and willing to learn and are very well mannered children'. Strong Classroom Control is crucial and the Head wants to appoint a Teacher who is confident and committed to being a fantastic Teacher.
The School is located outside of Preston Town Centre and has easily accessible bus routes nearby if you do not drive, however, if you do drive, parking at the School is spacious. The position is Full time Monday to Friday, working 6.5 hours a day.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £100-£120 per day (varies depending on experience)
