Job Description: Year 5 Teacher - Part Time

Job Duties:

  • Create and deliver engaging lessons for Year 5 students, following the UK National Curriculum
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing timely feedback and support as needed
  • Collaborate with colleagues to foster a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians to ensure student success
  • Participate in school events and meetings as required

Required Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Relevant teaching qualification
  • Knowledge of the UK National Curriculum for Year 5

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Education or related field - QTS

Experience:

  • Previous experience teaching Year 5 students, with a strong understanding of child development and learning theories
  • Demonstrated ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents
  • Proficiency in using technology to enhance learning in the classroom

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
