A highly reputable Special Educational Needs (SEN) school group in Manchester is seeking a dedicated SEMH Teacher to join their esteemed team on a permanent basis starting September 2024. This is a significant opportunity for a passionate educator who specializes in supporting students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.

Role: SEMH Teacher
Area: Manchester
Salary: MPS/UPS, Dependent on experience with SEN allowance
Contract: Fulltime, Permanent

Key Responsibilities:
*
Plan, prepare and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons.
*
Support the emotional and social development of students, implementing strategies to manage behavior effectively.
*
Work collaboratively with other staff to plan cohesive educational strategies.
*
Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of students.
*
Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy educational environment.

Requirements:
*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification recognized in the UK.
*Experience in teaching students with SEMH needs is highly desirable.
*Strong understanding of the strategies needed to establish a safe, inclusive classroom environment.
*Ability to engage with and inspire students.
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with staff, parents, and external agencies.
*Commitment to continuous professional development.
